HORARIOS DE MERIDIANOS EN LA MEDICINA TRADICIONAL CHINA
En la medicina tradicional china hay un tiempo para cada cosa, organizarse bien y saber que actividades hacer en cada momento del día es crucial para la salud. Nuestros cuerpos funcionan como relojes mecánicos, cada órgano y meridiano tiene un período de unas dos horas en que el qi (energía) está en el nivel máximo. El qi fluye en el sentido de las agujas del reloj a través de los 12 meridianos durante las 24 horas del día y las energías yin (fría) y yang (caliente) se van alternando. Llevar una vida en harmonía con el reloj biológico mejora la salud. Otras prácticas como pasear o recibir masajes también contribuyen a alcanzar este objetivo. Durante el periodo de los Reinos Combatientes (476-221 a.C.) se escribió el que se considera texto fundacional de la medicina tradicional china, el “Clásico de Medicina Interna del Emperador Amarillo”. En él no se habla de medicamentos, sino que se establecen una serie de preceptos para vivir en consonancia con el universo y con los ritmos
